:spotlight-left:To those of you who hunger for tales from my overinteresting life (you're a speices seriously threatened by extinction, by the way), here comes an update! :spotlight-right:

Everything is running smoothely, but I am beginning to feel the strain of Working a full time job:coffeecup:, studying for my italian exams, taking part in an opera:sing:, singing in a choir and partying too mutch. I've reached the point where I only have two settings, I'm either on or off. It's all workworkworkworkworksleeeeeeeepworkworkworkworksleeeeeep... I try to relax if I happen to have an hour or so without plans, but I always either fall asleep or start doing something un-relaxing.
:sleepy: V.S. :work:

At least I have time for my social life every now and then, and in an effort to imrove my romantic outlook (and possibly my financial one as well ;)) I've had many dates in the last couple of weeks, and I have no less than four to go just this week.

The only area of my life which is causing concern (except for my exhaustingly overfilled agenda), is my economy (or rather lack thereof). I live, as they say, beyond my means, spending incredible amounts on alcohol:beer:, clothes, concert tickets, shoes, eating out... I am trying to save up for a trip to LA this autumn, and some for school, but the money just... disappears.
freaky. As Oscar Wilde said, I will probably die beyond my means too. So feel free to donate that ol' money you have lying around, it would be accepted with great thanks. The same goes for alcohol.

Now, over to my creative side... I haven't drawn as much as a stick person in ages, and I am not comletely sure where I've put my camer. It's sad. I know. But I have been writing a wee bit, though. Mainly song lyrics, but also poetry, an essay, and I've kept at it with my novel.

Heres a completely free and useless sample from a song I made:

Alone at last
together in this photograph
polycromics
psychedelics
pornographics
holy reliques

(I'll add more tomorrow, when I actually have it infromt of me, rather than reciting it from crowded corners of my mind)
:tea:

AND I have a movie-tip for you all.
Go see The Tracy Fragments featuring Ellen Page (Juno). It's a really moving indie-movie with a good, yet disturbing story, presented in distorted fragments. It feels like you're trapped in a state of delirium, running scared through the mind of a fucked-up fifteen-year-old. The fragmentation is kind of annoying and haunting, but it works, the movie is really captivating in a stark yet complex way.

Finally, I must announce that Jupiter (the magnificently idle band consisting of :iconpocketfeather:, :iconcinaed-the-gnostic:, and :iconumbrella-lenore:) is now on MySpace. visit us at:

I am! and guess where I'm off to next week? Dublin! That's not too far away from where you live, is it?

Merely a ferry crossing, dear girl, but one I've had an old friend dodge at the last minute in the past while she was holidaying from Canada. I was rather bothered by that- her fear of strangers, cowardice, was so at odds with the confident persona she expressed for the years I knew her online, it was a surprise and a disappointment.

But no, on the European scale, not too far at all, though unfortunately not connected by land, unless you've very long legs.

Tales speak of a sunken city beneath Cardigan Bay, where a land bridge once connected Wales and Ireland. I love such stories.

I cannot imagine travelling.. I'd need a job first, and having overcome such a terrifying obstacle as 'employment', I'd then need to care enough to wade through passports, legalities, tickets and the like.. I found it distasteful enough to pay £3 for a power cable today >.>

Anticapitalism by inactivity!
